Interviewee: Steven Bernstein
Interview Questions:
Q: At Muchin College Prep how long does it take you to do your homework each night?
A: It takes me about three to four hours to do my homework, but only if im not distracted watching tv or playing the game.
Q: Why did you choose to come to Muchin?
A: Out of all the schools I was thinking about going to, Muchin seemed to be the best choice out all of all the schools. This was a decision I made, my mom did not influence my decision or force me to go there.
Q: Describe the average teenage lifestyle?
A: The average teenage lifestyle is basically centered around going to parties, drugs, alcohol, countless hours of doing homework, more stress than you know how to deal with, meeting new people, and making life long friends.
Q: Do you agree with the rules of Muchin?
A: Naaa I don't.
Q: What type of Music do you generally listen to?
A: I listen to Hip Hop, Pop, and R&B. I don't really listen to anything else because I feel like that music isn't me.
Q: Are you someone who always seems to be in trouble? whether it is at school or at home?
A: Not at all
Q: How are you able to decrease the stress in your life?
A: Playing sports decreases most of my stress because im just able to forget about everything that has happened that week, not think about the future, or think about problems I have. Playing sports just allows me to do what I love while having fun. Along with this though, Hanging with friends, and just relaxing decreases my stress. While i'm doing these things I have no weight on my shoulders. I can take a step away from all the books, homework, and teachers to just have time doing what I love. If I love it, it will only cause my stress to decrease.
Q: When you fail numerous times at something does this change your attitude about it? why is this?
At first, but as long as I know I can get part of it done, and move little by little to accomplish my overall goal, my attitude won't change. I know that eventually I will finally be able to complete what I was trying to do, so chaning my attitude about it will only cause me to not even attempt to try it again. Staying positive and working my way to the top is the best way to go.
